Consignment at Simms

We’ve heard a lot of questions over the years about Estate Jewelry and consigning jewelry, and we’d love to shed some light on the process! 

Do we do Consignment? YES! We have a collection of Estate jewelry in store and ready for your browsing pleasure. These previously loved pieces can be unique and timeless in their own right.

So what does it take to consign a piece at Simms? First and foremost, we want to make sure that the items suit the wants and needs of our clientele. We have a process that includes intake of the piece(s) and evaluation - with a look at current replacement value and what would be a reasonable price to sell it at. Ultimately, estate jewelry comes at a reduced price, that’s part of what makes these pieces appealing to buyers! Then, we’ll come to an agreement with you on the sell price and take it from there.
